Catching Up!

I keep thinking, I need to blog this! and I don't. So, it's way past Mother's Day but I had to post a photo of all the fun things the kids made me at school. I've always looked forward to the day when they would make funky things to give me and it was great! Loved it! Greg gave me the book The Host which I have been waiting for and have been frustrated because I am controlling myself and not completely losing myself in it.
He also upgraded my phone and I LOVE it. Greg then turned the big 35. We had a great day hanging out. The kids saw a RockBand T-shirt and decided that it was the perfect gift. ( Did I mention Gavin decided to try the Bass and gave himself a dime size blister on his thumb. I only let them play on the weekend and for a very limited time but I can imagine what the other parents think when he shows off his RockBand blister. )Isa has not been feeling well again and so we had to have more xrays and she still has pneumonia. SO,we are trying a new script and cross our fingers this one does the trick. She is not able to enjoy all the fun things that are happening at the end of the school year and I feel bad for her.

So Proud To Be The Big Sis

Last night Tia graduated from ASU with her MSW! I am so proud! She has worked so hard to accomplish this goal. The girl worked full-time, did an internship and took classes all at the same time, not to mention she had just gotten married at the beginning of it all . Way to go Tia!! We had a little beach themed fiesta at my house since she is celebrating her success with a cruise. I also sewed up a fun bag for her to take along. It was my first attempt at a purse and I was pretty happy with the results.

The Infirmary

I have not posted for some time due to my home having one sick kid after another. Gabriel was sick last week and then I spent a few days catching up as everything seems to be put on hold when kids are ill. Then Isa seemed to have a really bad flu that eventually included shoulder pain which I thought was weird so I took her in to the Doc and it's pneumonia. We caught it fast enough this time that we were able to avoid the ER but she has been pretty miserable. So, everything has froze for me once again and hopefully she will continue to get better. If you see a mom with bad hair (had to cancel a desperately needed hair appt.) and dark circles that even MAC concealer can't hide, it's me! Smile and wave because if you're a mom you've most likely been there.
